Sodastream

Sodastream is a global company that manufactures soda-fountains for the home, sold to over 10 million customers around the world.

Sodastream uses HxGN EAM to manage the maintenance of all of its manufacturing machinery and assets in its factories in the US, Japan, the Netherlands, Canada and Israel.

By using GIV Solutions and the EAM, Sodastream has implemented a predefined organizational methodology and process for preventative maintenance. This has led to a significant improvement in the utilization and lifecycle of Sodastream machinery and assets, as well as a markable reduction in costs.

Insights gained from the systems’ BI tools enabled streamlining of operational maintenance procedures and the optimization of spare parts ordering processes.

Sodastream also uses the system to calibrate machinery, and technicians have access to it through their mobile devices.

Additional benefits were gained by using the same system at all Sodastream sites globally, sharing information and best practices amongst the different factories.

The Jerusalem Light Rail – Lavi

The light rail in Jerusalem provides a solution for about 145,000 passengers on average per day and currently operates the Red Line, which includes 23 stations along 13.8 km. The Red Line is expected to be extended, and in parallel, construction has already begun on the Green Line that will provide comprehensive service to all Jerusalem residents.

The Lavi company is responsible for all aspects of daily operation and maintenance of the Jerusalem light rail.

GIV-RAIL™ system serves as the company’s CMMS system. The system manages all the central processes in the organization across its various functions: inventory and procurement management, maintenance management, operations management and service level management.

The HxGN EAM system is used by all company employees and managers, starting with field technicians who report their daily activities via tablet apps directly from the field.

In addition to daily operations, the system provides the light rail with unique informative reports for stakeholders and enables control and monitoring of all maintenance operations. All this is thanks to unique customizations developed specifically according to the rail management needs for optimal and smooth operations.

Ayalon Highways

Founded in 1968, Tel Aviv, Israel-based Ayalon Highways is a governmental company specializing in planning, executing, maintaining, and managing transportation infrastructures.

The joint project began with a pilot where GIV Solutions demonstrated how engineering inspections of road structures using advanced drones can enhance worker safety, reduce time and costs, improve inspection accuracy, and reduce the need for full traffic closures. The pilot’s KPIs were successfully met, leading to a significant project since June 2023.

The complete project combines smart management systems for roads – GIV-RMS™, bridges and road structures maintenance and operations -GIV-BMS™, and advanced engineering inspection using drones and digital twin technology – GIV-Inspection-Tech™. The systems are integrated with Ayalon Highways’ advanced maintenance infrastructure management system on the Nimbus, AWS government cloud and create an innovative, comprehensive solution across these critical areas.

The Smart City at the National College for Police Officers

The Policity college has thousands of trainees and visitors, hundreds of faculty and employees, and tens of thousands of students each year in thousands of courses. There are thousands of end stations, a server farm containing 150 physical and virtual servers, a recovery farms that provide business continuity in the worlds of communications, Data Security and Wi-Fi, and the site operates three different communication networks.
