The “Red Line” light rail has been operational since August 2023 and traverses some of the busiest areas in the Gush Dan District, serving approximately 234,000 passengers daily and around 70 million passengers annually. The line runs every 6 minutes, spanning 24 km, half of which is in an underground tunnel. The Red Line features 34 stations across 5 cities, including 10 underground stations. This ambitious project was realized through the collaboration of numerous international and Israeli companies.
To ensure optimal operation, an Operational Control Center (OCC) was established, comprising several key centers, including a Maintenance Control Center (MCC) for managing routine and emergency maintenance activities. GIV-RAIL™ by GIV Solutions was selected as the central maintenance management system (MMIS) for the MCC. Since its implementation, all project stakeholders have relied on GIV-RAIL™ for maintenance management, logistics, SLA, and KPI calculations.
The Chosen Solution:
GIV-RAIL™ was implemented as the project’s MMIS, consolidating all maintenance and operational processes into a unified, accessible format for all contractors and companies.
Since 2023, the GIV-RAIL™ system has continuously evolved, adding new functions and processes as needed. This flexibility ensures ongoing improvement and efficiency, enhancing the system’s value for the Red Line’s maintenance processes and providing optimal service to the Line’s passengers.
